HEADLINE PREDICTION

Looking for a strong closing routine that will leave people talking about you long after you have leave the building! The magician posts a sealed envelope to the client a week prior to the show. The envelope is brought on stage by the client who confirms it is sealed and has not been tampered with. The performer brings out three different daily newspapers and a spectator is given a choice of one. Spectator takes newspaper and envelope and sits down for remainder of the show. For the finale, magician asks spectator to bring newspaper and envelope on stage. Spectator opens up sealed envelope and reads out the letter which predicts which newspaper the spectator would chose, the daily headlines, predictions that happened during the show or ANYTHING else you want to predict.

DREAM PREDICTION LITE

Paul Romhany's top selling one-person prediction routine just got better. The original Dream Prediction was one of the Top Selling Products for 2007, and now Dream Prediction Lite offers the same effect as the original, but more portable for most working conditions.

The magician talks about his dream holiday and tells the audience that he wrote it down on a large piece of paper and sealed it inside an envelope which can be seen at all times. The audience can see the prediction through the envelope at all times.

A spectator is asked to call out the name of a cruise ship they would like to travel on, the performer writes the answer down on a small white board for verification later on.

Another spectator is asked to call out a destination they would like to visit, again it is written down on the white board.

A third spectator is asked to count the change in their pocket and the amount is again written down on the white board. This spectator comes on stage to verify each of the items called out. The envelope is shown and opened, the audience can see the prediction fall out of the envelope and the spectator reads the prediction which matches EXACTLY what the audience chose.

This is an extremely adaptable routine, as you can use any presentation you like, such as a "Dream Date," a "Dream Car," or a "Menu" type routine in a restaurant. You are limited only by your imagination.

Everything in this routine is worked out through hundreds of performances, making it very easy to perform, giving you time to concentrate on your own presentation. Ricki Dunn's Drink Trick

Many professional magicians consider this routine to be one of the FUNNIEST 'bits of business' in magic. Ricki Dunn, known as Americas Funniest Pickpocket, closed his show with this routine for over 20 years knowing it would get the STRONG AUDIENCE REACTION he desired from a closing effect.

Prior to his passing, Ricki bequeathed the trick to Paul Romhany who over the past few years re-worked the handling of Rickis' original Drink Trick, re-designing the special gimmick glass to make it more durable and easier to perform.

In memory of Ricki Dunn, Paul Romhany is releasing to the magic fraternity a small number of custom made glasses enabling YOU to perform this outrageously FUNNY and very VISUAL effect.

The effect is that you pour a glass of Cola for your volunteer and after they drink it you are able to extract the Cola from their nose and ears. This version differs from others on the market because the spectator can HOLD the glass!

When Paul Romhany first performed his Bill To Can routine on live National Television ten years ago he caused a huge uproar amongst many magicians who accused him of using a stooge because the trick was simply TOO IMPOSSIBLE! However, what they didn't know was that Paul had been performing his routine for two years in Trade Shows and Cabaret venues prior to the TV presentation. Ten years on and Paul is STILL performing the routine EXACTLY the same way he did it on television and still fooling magicians and lay people around the world. This is a BILL TO CAN ROUTINE that really does seem impossible, however with Paul Romhany's clever thinking he has created what must be considered the STRONGEST and most IMPOSSIBLE BILL TO CAN ROUTINE EVER!!

READ THE EFFECT CAREFULLY BECAUSE IT WILL SEEM IMPOSSIBLE

A sealed can is given out PRIOR to the performance and held by a spectator throughout the show. At the appropriate time, a bill is borrowed and signed. This bill is then placed inside an envelope and burnt. A second bill is borrowed and signed by another spectator and this magically changes in to the first spectators signed bill. The person holding the tin can is now asked to open it up and INSIDE they find the second spectators SIGNED BILL.

Read the above again and notice the can is given out PRIOR to the trick and that the magician NEVER goes anywhere NEAR the can!

NOTE the following:

• Uses an ordinary tin can - Paul will show you how to 'gimmick' your own can so you can perform it EXACTLY as he does.

• NO STOOGES - due to his clever presentation Paul DOES NOT need a stooge for this trick.

• TWO VARIATIONS - Paul explains how he can perform this in a Trade Show situation where he has repeat performances and also the version he uses on Cruise Ships and in private and corporate parties.

TURKISH DELIGHT

Paul Romhany is certainly one of the most creative professional magicians working today. What makes Paul’s magic unique is that everything has been put through it’s paces in the real world of a busy professional magician. Turkish Delight is another fine example of Paul's approach to a classic of magic with that special Romhany touch.

For anybody performing any type of close-up magic this is a great routine that is direct, very commercial and has that ‘wow’ factor you are looking for from your magic.

Effect:

You tell your audience that as a child your Uncle traveled the world and would bring back some amazing gifts from his travels to these exotic countries. You bring out a small beautiful hand made ‘FEZ’ hat saying that this was your first real ‘magic’ hat, asking the audience if they would like to see a ‘hat’ trick. You then stun them as you perform impossible miracles with the hand made ‘fez’ hat and a small pom pom culminating in the appearance of two larger balls under the hat.

This is Paul’s version of a ‘one cup and ball’ routine, but this time you are using an absolutely beautiful hand made small Fez Hat. This routine has served Paul well in Trade-Shows, formal close-up and restaurant type situations.

ADVENTURES AHORES - UPDATED VERSION

Adventures Ashore by Paul Romhany is an entertaining and topical three-phase book test WITHOUT any books! Paul Romhany has been performing this routine on cruise ships and in his mentalism show on land for several years and now offers it to the magic fraternity.

The performer explains that he loves cruising and while on ships he collects the "port guides" that the ship hands out at each port they visit. In fact, the performer brought some with him and brings out a dozen or so of these port guides and displays them to the audience.

The performer explains he will try an experiment with the port guides and places them all back in an envelope. A spectator is asked to reach in to the envelope and take out any port guide (a free choice) and look at the front page and remember any word, another spectator takes out another port guide and is asked to read any paragraph on the back page and try and visualize an image or "drawing" to do with that paragraph.

Finally, a third spectator is asked to take out any port guide and tear it in to pieces, through a process of elimination one piece is left and any word on that last piece is remembered.
